GRAPHITE / SURFACE STUDY

Mid-size sedan · inspection and single-stage correction · 1 day in the bay

Inspection lighting shows the contours and reflection of a finish.

Behind the finish ↗

Every correction brief here starts with paint depth and history. A test area on the worst panel establishes the process before the machine touches the rest of the car, and the panel map records what was corrected and what was left.

BLUE / THE FINAL DETAIL

Hatch · wash, decontamination and interior · half a day in the bay

Controlled preparation, careful handling and attention to the edges.

Behind the process ↗

Cleaning, correction and protection are quoted as separate stages, so the agreed package is the stage the car actually needed. A maintenance wash is a stage here too, not a free extra attached to a correction.

COATING / INDOORS, THEN CURED

Large SUV · two-stage correction and coating · 3 days in the bay

The coating goes on indoors and cures indoors. Nothing leaves the unit in a curing state, whatever the collection time requested.

What the three days bought ↗

Correction over two days, the coating applied on the morning of the third, and the car kept inside until the manufacturer's cure window closed. The paint-depth record and the panel map are written up before the car is handed back.

WHAT WE'RE TRUSTED WITH

What we work on is a type, not a customer: hatch, sedan, SUV or MPV, and the type is what the quotation is built from. The car itself is handed over with its own panel map, and that record belongs to its owner, not to this page.

The ladder

What each stage will
and will not fix.

Four stages, from keeping a good car good to correcting one that has been left. Bay time and price are stated with each — in practice those two numbers are what decides the booking.

Which band is my car?

Bands are measured, not guessed. Small is a hatch, coupe or small wagon to 4.4 m. Mid is a sedan, wagon or mid-size SUV from 4.4 to 4.8 m. Large is a seven-seater, MPV or full-size SUV over 4.8 m. A car with a repainted panel, a film to remove or heavy pet hair is quoted after inspection, and the inspection is what decides the stage as well as the band.

Illustrative concept pricing, not a quotation. Figures are in Singapore dollars for one car, in the bay, at the band stated; a coating stage includes the indoor cure and the aftercare note. Inspection is free and a dropped-off car that is not started is returned without a charge, but a car cancelled after polishing has begun is billed for the stage reached. Confirm current rates with the studio.

Maintenance washKeeps a protected car clean. Does not correct paint.S$120S$150S$190
Decontamination & polishBonded contamination and light swirls. Not deep scratches or damage.S$380S$450S$540
Paint correctionTwo or three machine stages to level the clear coat. Not scratches through it, or dents.S$900S$1,100S$1,350
Correction & coatingCorrection, then a coating applied indoors to cure. Not bodywork.S$1,600S$1,900S$2,300

Every stage includes a hand wash, wheels, glass and an interior vacuum. Removing an old coating or paint-protection film is its own job and is priced separately, because it is removal work before any correction can start.

How long the car stays

Days in the bay,
stated per stage.

Plan the drop-off and collection around the agreed treatment and cure time.

Time in the bay

  • Wash and decontamination — half a day; the car is returned the same day
  • Single-stage correction — one day; paint is measured before and after
  • Multi-stage correction — two to three days, with a panel map of what was corrected
  • Coating — an additional day, because the coating must cure undisturbed before the car is handed back

What the duration rules out

  • No same-day correction with a coating on top — the cure window is the reason, not a scheduling choice
  • No car is returned wet or in a curing state to make an evening collection
  • Collection and drop-off windows are agreed at booking, with one reschedule at no charge
  • If the inspection finds more than the quote assumed, work stops and you are called before it continues

Before the car is booked

In the bay,
and outside the work.

The stage quoted is the stage done — unless something is found that changes it, and then you are told before the machine starts.

In the price

  • Bay time as quoted
  • All products and consumables
  • Wheels, glass and an interior vacuum
  • A walk-around with you at collection
  • Aftercare notes for the first wash

Quoted separately

  • Bodywork, dent removal and scratch repair beyond polishing
  • Removing an existing coating or paint-protection film
  • Oversize vehicles, modified panels, aftermarket additions
  • Interior extraction, odour treatment, heavy pet hair
  • Storage beyond the collection window

Handover: what the finish covers, how long it is registered for and what voids it is written down and handed over with the car, under the studio's own terms.

How a booking runs

Inspect, book,
hand back.

  1. Inspection & advice

Paint condition, anything done before, and which stage the car actually needs.

  2. Book the bay

The stage, the day the car arrives and the day it leaves.

  3. Drop off

Key handover, a walk-around, and a note of anything already marked.

  4. The work

Progressed as agreed; the stage is never upgraded without asking you first.

  5. Collection

A walk-around in daylight, aftercare notes, and the terms handed over.

What you hold afterwards

Documents,
not assurances.

Detailing is judged months later, in daylight, on a wet car. What matters then is what was written down on the day.

Handed over with the car

  • A paint-depth record per panel, taken before and after correction
  • The correction stage performed and the areas not corrected, named rather than implied
  • The products and the coating applied, with the manufacturer's own care instructions
  • The workmanship period that applies to the installed coating, and the maintenance that keeps it valid

Kept on file for the car

  • The installer record for the coating brand, where one exists, and the brand's own warranty terms rather than a summary of them
  • What voids the coating: automatic brushes, abrasive washing, and polishing a coated panel
  • Whether the person correcting the paint is employed or subcontracted, and who checks the work
  • The insurance covering the car while it is in the bay

We hold no certification or award we cannot show you. Where a brand scheme applies to a coating, the number and the terms come from the brand and are given to you with the car.

Client perspective

“The difference was in the detail, and in knowing exactly what had been done to the car.”

Before the car comes in

CLEAR SCOPE.
NO SURPRISES.

Will polishing remove every scratch?

No, and we will not sell it as though it would. How much disappears depends on how much clear coat is left, how deep the defect goes and whether the panel has been repainted. The inspection measures the paint first and names what will still be visible afterwards — the honest answer is usually “less visible”, not “gone”.

Does a coating include paint correction?

Only if the quote says so. Preparation, correction, protection and aftercare are four separate lines here, and a coating laid over uncorrected paint locks the swirls underneath it. Where the paint needs a stage before the coating, that is what the quote will recommend.

How long should I leave the car?

The stage decides it. A maintenance wash is half a day, a single-stage correction is a day, a multi-stage correction is two to three days, and a coating adds a day because it cures indoors before the car is handed back. The collection window is agreed when you book, and a car is never handed over in a curing state to make an evening collection.

Do I need to book, or can I drop in?

Book. The unit takes one car at a time, because correction and coating both need the lighting and the dust controlled for the whole stage. A date is given rather than a queue, and the bay stays reserved for the stage you agreed.

Where the car comes, and when

  • The unit is in Singapore and the car comes to it; there is no mobile service for correction or coating work, because both need controlled lighting and an indoor cure.
  • Opening hours for drop-off and collection are stated on the booking confirmation, and the gate is closed outside them — a car left for collection outside them is stored at your risk.
  • Vehicles are kept inside from the moment they arrive but no earlier than the booked slot: booking a slot is what reserves the space.
  • By appointment: one car in the bay at a time, so a date is given rather than a queue — the bay is not shared with another job, and the stage you agreed is the stage the car gets.
