The workshop
behind the sign.
The difference between a sign that lasts and one that does not is rarely the design. It is who cut the material, who wired it, and who came back when the fascia moved.
In our own workshop
- CNC cutting and routing of acrylic, aluminium composite and foam board
- Spraying and finishing in a booth, with colour matched to a supplied sample or a paint code
- LED assembly, wiring and testing before anything leaves the workshop
- A material sampler you can hold: the same acrylic, composite and vinyl used on your job
On your site
- Our own installation crew, not a subcontracted gang booked the night before
- A named supervisor for the installation, whose name is on the drawing
- Site protection, and making good of the fascia surface around the fixings
- A closing photograph of the installed sign taken from the position it is read from
The material and lead-time table lists what each sign type involves. Where a job needs a licensed trade — electrical work, or a structural fixing — that is named as a separate line, not absorbed into the sign price.
Before anything is made
The survey
decides it.
Most of a sign's cost and risk is settled on the wall, not in the artwork. The survey is where the numbers come from.
Book a site survey ↗What the survey records
- Available height and width at the sign position
- Mounting substrate, its condition and what will hold a fixing
- Power route, isolation point and where a driver can be reached later
- Access, lift, scaffolding and the hours we are allowed to work
- Viewing distance, and how much a sign can say at that distance
What to send first
- An elevation or scaled drawing, if one exists
- Photos of the wall from both ends, at eye level
- The logo or artwork files, and any existing sign dimensions
- The site address, and when access can be arranged
- The date the sign has to be in place
Illustrative concept pricing, not a quotation. Bands assume a sound wall, standard access and one installation visit; permits, electrical supply works, structural endorsement and out-of-hours access are quoted separately once the site has been surveyed. Confirm current rates with the fabricator.| Sign type | What drives the number, and the lead time | From |
|---|
| Flat-cut letters | Size, material and mounting surface · 2–3 weeks | S$900 |
|---|
| Illuminated signage | Light source, power route and maintenance access · 3–5 weeks | S$2,400 |
|---|
| Panel or wayfinding set | Number of panels, fixing type and how many floors · 2–4 weeks | S$1,800 per set |
|---|
| Shopfront or façade | Elevation size, access equipment and building consent · 4–8 weeks | S$6,500 |
|---|
Lead times start when the artwork and the site are both ready. Approval, not fabrication, is usually the part that slips.
Request a survey and a quote ↗The written scope
In the order,
and not.
A signage job goes wrong in the gaps: who applies for the permit, who restores the wall, who pays for the lift.
Check a scope with us ↗In the order
- Survey and measurement
- Artwork and a production mock-up
- Fabrication
- Fixings, brackets and installation
- Removal of the old sign where it is agreed
- Wall patching, clean-up and a handover walk-round
Outside it, unless it is stated
- Permits, licences and submission fees
- Electrical supply works and an isolation point
- Structural endorsement for large or projecting signs
- Night, weekend or lift-access charges
- Building-management or landlord charges
- Designing the brand identity itself
Before anything is cut
A drawing you
approve, in millimetres.
Signage goes wrong at the approval stage: a size agreed in conversation, a logo scaled by eye, a mounting height guessed on site. So approval happens on a dimensioned drawing.
What the drawing carries
- Overall width and height in millimetres, and the depth of the return
- Letter heights, spacing and the mounting centres, measured from the fascia edge and from the ground
- Materials and finishes, called out per element, with the fixing method
- A revision code and date, so the version you approve is the version that is built
How approval works
- Nothing is cut, bent or sprayed until the drawing is marked approved
- Colour is approved against a physical sample or a supplied code, never on a screen
- A change after approval is a revision with its own cost and lead time, quoted before it is made
- The approved drawing and the installation photographs are handed over together with the warranty document
Client perspective
“The material samples made the decision easy. The finished sign felt like part of the space, not an addition to it.”

FROM ARTWORK
TO THE WALL.
Can you work from an existing logo?+
Yes. Vector artwork is usually a useful starting point. The design may need adjustments for letter depth, small details or fabrication constraints.
Does the quotation include installation?+
Confirm supply, installation, electrical work, access equipment and any approvals separately. They are not automatically included together.
How long does fabrication take?+
Timing depends on material, size, quantity and the approved specification. Confirm the schedule after artwork, samples and site details are agreed.
Before you pay a deposit
Names, numbers,
and the register.
Who you are dealing with
- Our registered company name, our registration number and our tax registration status appear on every quotation and invoice. Ask for them, and check them against the register before you pay a deposit.
- Where a licensed trade is needed — electrical work at the sign, a structural fixing into the facade — the licensed contractor is named on the quotation, and their own paperwork is what you receive for that part.
- The warranty is issued as a document with the period printed on it, and what voids it sits on the same sheet.
