What we do

Three services,
plainly described.

Who handles your pet

You should know
whose hands these are.

Joanne Mah

Lead groomer. Fourteen years, trained in breed-standard styling and in handling nervous and senior dogs. Does the cats, too.

Concept profile. Not a real groomer.

Ravi Selvam

Groomer and boarding lead. Handles large dogs, medicated baths and pets with skin conditions, and keeps the daily boarding notes.

Concept profiles. Not real groomers.

Printed on the price sheet against each groomer: who trained them, which coat types and breeds they are signed off to handle, how many appointments they take in a day, and whether they work with cats. Joanne takes the cats and the nervous and senior dogs; medicated baths and the boarding notes sit with Ravi. If the groomer you booked is off sick, you are told before you arrive rather than handed a different pair of hands at the door.

Where your pet stays

Look at the room
before you decide.

The counter is not the room. This is what the walk-through covers before the first booking, and the pen your pet would sleep in is one of the things on it.

Separation, not stacking

Cats and dogs are handled in separate areas and at separate times. Boarding pens are individual and on the floor, not stacked cages.

Air and cleaning

Air-conditioned and ventilated, with the room cleaned between pets and shared tools disinfected. Between a sick pet and the next booking the room is cleaned and the shared tools are disinfected — a step in the day with a time against it, not a good intention.

No sedatives

A pet that cannot be handled calmly is sent home with a note, not medicated to get through an appointment. That is the policy here, and it does not bend for a busy Saturday.

Water, food, medication

Fresh water is always available; food, medication and feeding times follow your instructions and are written down. Bring your own food for boarding.

How many, at once

Small numbers,
written down.

“Small numbers” is a decision about the room rather than a slogan, so here are the figures it means. They are on the day sheet each morning, and a booking is refused rather than reshuffled to keep them.

Six pens and two tables is the ceiling here, and it is why a Saturday closes early rather than running long. A pet that is unwell, unvaccinated or unable to be handled calmly takes a slot out of the count rather than being worked in around it.

Before the first visit

What we ask for,
and why.

These are our conditions and they are the same for every pet that walks in. A household that will not send a vaccination record is not one we can put into a shared room.

Before you book

What it costs,
by size.

Grooming is priced by size, coat condition and time, and that should be stated before the appointment, not after.

Illustrative concept pricing. Confirm the current price list, what a groom includes, and the policy for matted coats, late collection or a cancelled boarding night.

Three appointments

What the coat asks for,
and what it costs.

Illustrative grooming appointment: a small shaggy dog on a rubber-topped table with a wooden brush working through its coat

A full groom · 2 to 3 hours

Small dog S$75 · medium or large S$110 · nails, ears and a skin check included

Bath, dry and a breed or clip finish, with the coat handled and read before any water goes on. The finish is agreed at the table at the start of the slot, not decided halfway through it.

When the coat is worse than it looked ↗

Demating is charged at S$15 per half hour of extra time and it can hurt, so it is offered rather than assumed — a shorter clip is usually the kinder answer and it is quoted before any work starts. Anything found on the skin is reported to you the same day rather than treated quietly.

Illustrative boarding room: individual floor-level pens with clean bedding, a folded blanket and a steel bowl, one dog resting inside

Boarding · one pen per dog

S$55 a night · individual pens on the floor, never stacked · your routine, not ours

Six pens is the ceiling and the list closes at six. Feeding, medication and walk times follow the sheet you fill in, and whoever is on site overnight is named before the first night is booked.

What the night actually looks like ↗

Pens are cleaned between guests and shared tools are disinfected between pets. A pet that arrives with fleas or a cough is treated and you are told. A pet that cannot be handled calmly goes home with a note rather than through a night it cannot cope with, because the other five pens are still full.

Illustrative grooming room detail: rolled towels, two wooden brushes, a comb, a dish and an unlabelled bottle on a pale wood counter

A settling visit · 15 to 20 minutes

S$25 · the table, a brush and handling · no water and no clippers

For a rescue that panics at a dryer, or a senior dog that has not been groomed in a year. The first appointment is the room and the table, and the full groom is booked only once the pet settles into both.

How the second visit goes ↗

The second appointment adds a bath with a low-noise dryer if the first one went calmly, and the third can be a full groom. A nervous pet is not rushed through three stages in one slot to save a booking, and the settling visit is not credited against the groom that follows it — it is a visit in its own right.

Every appointment above is written the way the day sheet is written: what was asked for, what the coat and the skin dictated, and what it cost. The appointment sheet and the boarding notes go home with the pet, and the figure is agreed before the work starts rather than after the coat is off.

A clearer starting point

What does your
pet need?

Pick the closest description. It starts the right conversation instead of a general enquiry.

First time here

Send the vaccination record, the breed or mix, and how your pet behaves at the dryer and around other animals.

Book a first groom
Nervous, senior or anxious

Say what has gone wrong before. A short settling visit is usually better than a long first appointment.

Start with a short visit
You are going away

Ask where the pet sleeps, who is on site overnight, how exercise and feeding work, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Ask about boarding

An owner’s view

“They showed us the pen before we booked, and told us which groomer would handle her. That was all we needed to decide.”

The practical questions

Before the
first appointment.

How long will my pet be there?

A full groom is two to three hours including drying and settling time, and a bath and tidy about an hour. Your pet does not wait in a pen afterwards: it is ready when you arrive, and we phone if a finish runs past the slot.

Can I stay for the appointment?

Yes, and for a first appointment we would rather you did, at least for the first ten minutes. Most pets settle faster once the owner has gone, so we ask you to wait in the front room rather than at the table; you are welcome to watch the second appointment through the door instead.

What if the coat is badly matted?

Demating is charged at S$15 per half hour of extra time, and it can hurt. It is offered rather than assumed, a shorter clip is usually the kinder answer, and whichever you choose the figure is quoted before any work starts.

Can I see where my pet would stay?

Yes — the pens, the exercise area, where food and medication are kept, and the name of whoever is on site overnight. Ring the bell and ask; the walk-through takes five minutes and it is the whole point of booking a first appointment.

Start a conversation

Let’s meet
your pet first.

The breed or mix, the coat and how your pet handles handling are enough to begin.

Concept only. Nothing is sent or booked.
