Three ways to use the house

A day with times,
and a number on the room.

Fourteen dogs a day across two rooms, and we stop at fourteen. When a day or a class is full, this page says so and the list closes rather than the ratio slipping quietly through the afternoon.

Capacity, as a rule rather than a claim: fourteen dogs a day, two rooms, a maximum of seven dogs to one handler at any time, and never more than eight in a group. When a day is full, it is full and this page says so — a fifteenth dog is not added to a busy afternoon to keep the day profitable.

The day, on the clock

7.30–9.30am · Drop-off and health check
Nose, eyes, coat and gait checked at the door, then into the group matched to size and play style. Three dogs arrive at once; the fourth waits in the pen until the group is settled.
9.30–11am · First play block
Indoor room, two handlers on the floor, water at both ends of the space.
11am–1pm · Rest block
Two hours in separate rest pens with the lights down. The rest block is not optional and is not traded for extra play — it is what makes an eight-hour day safe for a dog.
1–2.30pm · Training or enrichment block
Group exercises, scent games, or one-to-one work for the day-and-train dogs.
2.30–4pm · Second play block
Outdoor yard where the weather allows, with the group sizes held at the same ceiling as indoors.
4–6.30pm · Wind-down, feeding and medication round
Feeding and medicines to your written instructions, then quiet play as the day ends.
6.30–7.30pm · Pick-up
A written note, two photographs and anything the handlers noticed. Collection after 7.30pm is charged per half hour.

The timetable flexes with the dogs in the room: a nervous newcomer moves to a quieter block, a hot afternoon shortens the yard time, a class day shifts the training block. Two things do not move — the rest block and the pick-up window. This is the routine the house runs; it is not a promise about any individual dog’s day.

Cameras: we do not run a public feed

What you get instead is written down — a note at pick-up, two photographs from the day, and a phone call when something needs your decision. A live camera tells you your dog is standing somewhere; two photographs and a note tell you what happened.

If you want to see the rooms, come at 2pm on a weekday and look at them while the dogs are in them. We will not schedule your visit around a quiet hour to make the room look calmer than it is.

Who is on the floor

Two handlers in the room through every play block, one through the rest block, and a person with current pet first aid on site at all times. The pet first-aid certificates hang by the door with their dates printed on them, and the renewal date is the whole of what makes one worth anything — a lapsed certificate is taken down rather than left up.

The rota is written up each morning against the dogs booked that day, so the number of handlers is a schedule, not an adjective.

The training half

Four levels,
each one gated.

Levels are gates rather than upsells. A dog that has not passed the level below is not put in the class above, because one dog working well out of its depth stops the class working for the other five.

Puppy foundation · 6 weeks
From 14 weeks to 6 months, maximum six puppies, one hour a week. Handling, name response, recalls, settling near other dogs, and a progress note home each week. No prerequisite beyond the vaccination record.
Bronze · 8 weeks
From 5 months, maximum six dogs. Lead manners, sit and stay at distance, recalls with a second handler holding the lead. Prerequisite: puppy foundation, or an assessment for an older dog that has done neither.
Silver · 8 weeks
Maximum five dogs. The Bronze exercises with distraction added: outdoor sessions, traffic noise, distance stays, recalls past other dogs. Prerequisite: Bronze.
Gold · 8 weeks
From 12 months, maximum five dogs. Off-lead control in a closed space, distance handling, and a public-space session as the last class. Prerequisite: Bronze and Silver.

Classes run Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Each course has a fixed start date and a fixed number of places; the next date and the places left are given on the phone, and a place is confirmed when the payment clears rather than when the enquiry arrives, a class that is full is marked full rather than left quietly full, and an enquiry that arrives after that date goes to the next intake. If a dog misses a week the session is not carried over, and the class does not shrink to wait for one dog.

The next intakes

Dated starts,
and the places left.

A class starts on a fixed date with a fixed number of places, and a place is held when the payment clears rather than when the enquiry arrives. This is the state of the calendar this morning.

A dog that misses two consecutive weeks moves to the next intake rather than being carried through a course it has stopped attending, and a session missed for illness is made up only where a space opens in another group at the same level. When a class is full it is marked full here and on the phone, and the waitlist is taken in the order it was written down.

Who is with your dog

These hands are
on the floor.

J. Lau

Lead trainer and behaviour lead. Runs Bronze to Gold and the day-and-train blocks, and takes the assessments for dogs that arrive with a history on their record.

Concept profile. Not a real instructor.

S. Nordin

Daycare floor lead. Matches the groups each morning, keeps the rest-pen rotation and writes the notes that go home at pick-up.

Concept profile. Not a real instructor.

Printed against every instructor on the board by the door: the certifying body, the certificate number, the levels each one is signed off to teach, and the house licence for these premises with its renewal date. Photocopies go out on request, and the rota is written each morning against the dogs booked, so the numbers are a schedule rather than a claim — two handlers to fourteen dogs through every play block, one to seven at any moment, and never more than eight in a group.

The rooms and the limits

What the space holds,
and what it does not.

We show the room before you book, and we show it while the dogs are in it — not at a quiet hour chosen to make the space look calmer than it is. This is what the walk-through covers.

Two rooms, not one yard

A 1,200 sq ft indoor room and a covered outdoor yard, kept as separate play spaces so a group of six is not playing in the same air as eighteen. Rest pens are individual, on the floor, in a dimmed corner away from the noise.

Groups, sizes, and who is turned away

Groups are matched by size and play style, at a ceiling of eight. We do not take dogs that are not neutered past eighteen months, dogs with a bite history, or bitches in season. That is a limit on the house, and it is the one that keeps the room usable for every other dog in it.

If something goes wrong during the day

The dog comes out of the group first, then the owner is phoned — handlers do not wait for a decision to move a dog that is hurt, unwell or over-aroused. The nearest veterinary clinic is named on the wall and is called ahead so it expects you. Where it is not an emergency, the dog rests out of the group and the note home records what was seen and when it happened.

Hours, transport and pick-up

Open 7.30am to 7.30pm, Monday to Saturday. Transport runs in two distance bands with a fixed window: collection between 7.30 and 9am, return between 5.30 and 7pm. A specific time inside that window cannot be promised, and a delay is not a reason to keep a dog past 7.30pm without the late charge. Parking is outside the gate; the bus stop is a short walk.

Before the first day

The gate, and
why there is one.

Every dog is assessed before it joins a group, and the assessment is a paid session of its own. That fee is the price of not finding out how a dog behaves by putting it into a group of seven.

What the assessment is not: it is not a certificate that a dog is safe in every group, and it does not hold a place on a busy day. It is a reading of behaviour on the day it is run, which is why the first three visits are watched more closely than the tenth, and why a dog can be moved to a different group without being asked to leave.

Before you book

Priced by the day,
and by the size of the dog.

Every row carries the length of the day, the size band, and whether the figure is a single day or a package rate — because “about fifty dollars” is not a number you can plan a working week around.

Illustrative concept pricing, not a quotation. One house, Singapore dollars, per dog. These figures exclude the one-off assessment, transport, peak-date surcharges, late collection and any training block, and they assume a dog that has passed its assessment. Packages are priced for the number of days stated and expire three months from purchase; changing the length of the day changes the price. Confirm current rates, and what a full day includes, with the house before you book.

Nothing on this list is added to a pack price without being said first.

Terms, in one list

  • A day moved or cancelled with 24 hours’ notice goes back on your pack. Inside 24 hours the day is charged, because the place was held.
  • A pack expires three months after purchase, and the expiry date is written on the receipt rather than kept in the house system.
  • A dog that arrives unwell, or without current vaccination proof, is turned away and the day is charged — sending it home is the cheaper half of that exchange.
  • A dog asked to leave the group for behaviour is collected the same day. Remaining days on the pack are refunded; the assessment fee is not, because the hour was spent.
  • The day pack is the only instalment this house offers: ten days at the effective rate above, paid up front. There is no credit account and no buy-now-pay-later arrangement — a house that quietly lets a bill run is one that will surprise you later.
  • The house closes on the peak dates posted at the counter, and a closure day is not charged.

Outside the price

  • Veterinary fees, where a dog is seen by a clinic while it is here: billed by the clinic, and we hold the invoice rather than the margin.
  • The assessment, charged once and not credited against the first day.
  • Transport outside the two distance bands, and any trip that needs a second handler.
  • A dog that needs one-to-one supervision for the day, which is priced as a private session on top of the day rather than absorbed quietly.
  • Peak-date surcharges, public holidays, and the days the house closes.

Three records

How a day is run,
and how a class is gated.

Illustrative dog day-care play room: several dogs playing on a soft floor with a low ramp, rubber toys and two water bowls

A full day · the play blocks

S$38 to S$54 a day by size · 10-day pack S$360 to S$510 · 8 hours

Drop-off from 7.30am into the group matched that morning: two play blocks with two handlers on the floor, and a two-hour rest block between them that is not traded away for extra play.

How the day is matched ↗

Size and play style set the group, not arrival order, and a fourth dog waits in the pen rather than walking into an unsettled group. The rest-pen rotation is written up each morning against the dogs booked, so a full day is fourteen dogs and never a fifteenth.

Illustrative dog training class: four dogs sitting on a mat in a bright hall with the trainer standing to one side

Bronze class · six places, gated

S$750 · 6 weekly sessions of 1 hour · maximum six dogs

Bronze filled its six places a fortnight before the start date. The seventh enquiry was offered the next intake rather than a seventh chair in the room, and the prerequisite was checked before payment was taken.

What the gate checks ↗

Puppy foundation, or the assessment for an older dog that has done neither. Two of the enquiries were moved down a level rather than up, and the level a dog is working at is printed on the note that goes home each week.

Illustrative daycare room detail: a rest pen with a folded blanket, a steel water bowl and a rope toy on a pale floor

The assessment hour · S$30

Up to 1 hour, booked between 11am and 4pm · admitted, half days only, or not a fit

A rescue that greeted politely and then froze when five others moved at once. The outcome was half days with a named handler for the first three visits — and the part that says no to full days yet is written down too.

What the hour screens ↗

How the dog greets, whether it reads another dog’s signal to stop, how it recovers from a startle, and how it takes handling. The fee is charged once and is not credited against the first day, because the hour was spent either way.

Each record above is written the way the note home is written: what the handlers saw, what was decided, and what it cost. Capacity sits in the numbers rather than in the adjectives — fourteen dogs, two rooms, one handler to seven at any time — and when a day or a class is full the list closes rather than the ratio stretching quietly through the afternoon.

Assess, match, run the day, hand back.

  1. Assess

One paid hour, with the outcome written down either way.

  2. Match

The group is set by size and play style, and the handler is named before the first day.

  3. Run the day

Two play blocks and a rest block, on the clock and at the stated ratio.

  4. Hand back

What was eaten, who it was with, and what ended a block early.

A clearer starting point

Which day
does this dog need?

Pick the closest description. It starts the right conversation instead of a general enquiry about daycare.

A dog that has never been left

Assessment first, then half days. Two short visits tell you more than one long one, and the note home says how the settling went rather than whether it was “fine”.

Book an assessment
A dog with energy to burn

Full days, at least two a week, on the same days each week. A dog that comes once a fortnight spends the first half of every visit relearning the room.

Ask about a full day
A puppy, 14 weeks to 6 months

Puppy foundation first, then half days once the vaccination record is in. Ask about the rest block — a puppy needs more of it than an adult, not less.

Ask about the class ladder
A dog that is nervous around other dogs

Half days with a named handler, or private sessions at the house where a group is too much. We would rather sell you less than run a dog through a room it cannot cope with.

Ask about private sessions
A dog another daycare has asked to leave

Say so at the assessment: it changes the group, the length of the day and the handler. A house that takes a bite history without asking anything is not doing the others in the room any favours.

Talk to us first

How often, and why it matters more than how long: a dog does better with at least two days a week, on days that stay the same, and a nervous dog usually needs three to four short visits in the first month before the days get longer. One trial day a fortnight is the shape that works least, because the room is new every time. None of this is a promise about how any individual dog will settle — it is what the ratio and the routine are built for.

An owner’s view

“They asked for the vaccination record before the assessment, charged for the assessment, and told us in writing that full days were not right yet. Half days for a month, and the note comes home every time.”

Before you book

The questions
that decide it.

What happens if my dog does not pass the assessment?

You are told the reason in writing, on the day, and the assessment fee is not refunded because the hour was spent. From there the honest options are half days with one handler, private sessions at the house, or a different kind of care, and we will say which one we would choose rather than taking the booking anyway. A dog that is not admitted is not a bad dog; it is a dog whose needs this room cannot meet at this ratio.

Do you have cameras I can watch?

No public live feed. What you get instead is a note and two photographs at pick-up, and a phone call the moment anything needs your decision. If you want to see the rooms, come at 2pm on a weekday and look at them with the dogs in them — but book it rather than turning up, because the door is opened by a handler who is on the floor.

How many dogs are here in a day, and how many people?

Fourteen dogs a day, two rooms, two handlers in the room during play blocks, a maximum of seven dogs to one handler at any time, and never more than eight in a group. When the day is full it is full and this page says so. The rota is written against the dogs booked that morning, so a busy day adds a handler or closes the list rather than stretching the ratio.

Which vaccinations does my dog need, and for what?

For daycare: the annual core vaccinations and internal plus external parasite prevention, all in date on the day of the visit. For a class day or a boarding day, kennel cough is added because those are shared rooms. Puppies from 14 weeks need a veterinary record showing a minimum second vaccination, deworming and a healthy certification. Proof is photographed and sent before the first day, and a record that has lapsed during the year means the day is turned away — which is charged, because the place was held.

What if I need to cancel, or I am late?

Twenty-four hours’ notice puts the day back on your pack, free. Inside 24 hours the day is charged, because the place was held and the ratio was set for your dog. Collection after 7.30pm is charged per half hour, and repeated late collections move a booking to half days until it stops happening. Pack days expire three months after purchase, with the date written on the receipt.

What if my dog is unwell on the day, or gets hurt here?

A dog that arrives unwell goes home, and the day is charged. A dog that becomes unwell or is injured here comes out of the group first, then you are phoned; the nearest clinic is named on the wall and is called ahead so it expects you. We do not hold a dog in a group while waiting for a decision, and a dog that needs one-to-one watching is priced as a private session on top of the day rather than quietly absorbed.
